Application Information
J. Allyn Taylor was a former President of Canada Trust and an extraordinary community leader. Affectionately dubbed “Mr. London,” he was instrumental in revitalizing London Community Foundation in 1979 and continued to serve the community as Honorary Chair of the Foundation’s Board until his passing in 2006.
London Community Foundation’s selection committee, made up of community members involved with the Foundation that represent a wide range of demographics and lived experiences, will assess each nomination.
The committee will evaluate the award based on the nominee’s leadership in the community, ambition to help others, their passion for meaningful community service, and their commit to lifelong community service.
The adjudication process typically takes place in early Spring, with nominators/nominees notified of the decision in early July. Exact dates will vary year to year.
